The Lakes Mail, established in October 1996, has undergone a substantial change providing both readers and advertisers with a fresh layout, increased sections and an expanded classified section as well as the increased regularity of weekly distribution (formerly fortnightly) now including the top end of the Central Coast which has been extremely well received.

Our commitment to the Westlakes area, Blackalls Park/Toronto through to Morisset/Cooranbong/Wyee Point, remains undiminished and this area maintains the lion’s share of the Lakes Mail readership base.

The paper has a strong community focus and as always, our locally based editorial continues to cover hard hitting news stories, a range of special feature topics and provides a strong focus on the people and the issues that affect them in our region.

Lakes Mail has a comprehensive entertainment guide, “LIVE”, a detailed local services directory and classified pages. The newspaper features all the local sports and has a fishing column written for local anglers.

A strong established readership base provides advertisers with an effective tool for obtaining maximum impact from their advertising dollar. As part of the Newcastle Newspapers Group we can also off er advertisers a unique opportunity to take advantage of great package deals and broaden their marketing reach.

The area is growing rapidly in both the commercial and residential sectors with Toronto and Morisset, in particular, set for strong development over the next few years which will provide the Lakes Mail with great opportunities to further enhance the product for our loyal readers and advertisers.
