SEYMOUR TELEGRAPH

Seymour, situated within 100kms of Melbourne, Bendigo and Shepparton, is at the junction of the Hume Freeway and the Goulburn Valley Highway. It has a population of more than 7000, with a total of approximately 12,600 in the region which includes the towns of Avenel and Tallarook and the army base of Puckapunyal. The Seymour Telegraph has been the Shire's newspaper since 1890.
